Example 4:
Culture Design and Delivery
Building the foundations of a strong company culture
Background
The client was the founder of a high-growth entrepreneurial venture, who wanted to be more conscious and intentional about the culture of the company she was building. She and her directors needed some guiding principles that would anchor their relationships and inform key decisions as the company moved through the next phase of anticipated growth.
Solution
A bespoke set of experiential sessions were developed that inspired the team to craft a short, medium and long-term vision and identify their core company values. They were then equipped with a powerful set of leadership tools to create self-awareness about their individual behaviours, drivers, triggers and needs and to understand others’ motivations, behaviours and needs. Last but not least, they were taught brain-based techniques to stay fully present in and through difficult conversations, models for giving and receiving feedback and ways for embedding accountability practices to increase company-wide performance.
Impact
The program gave this group of analytically-minded individuals the skills for emotional management and emotional intelligence, helping them build stronger relationships with both teammates and clients, and ensuring they are well-prepared for any difficult conversations that arise. The team reported back that the awareness, skills and capabilities they gained have built their confidence and resilience, and were pivotal in sparking innovation.
